RoHS Compliance
The EPCSYSTM and EPCSYS-HPTM electronic solenoids are exempt from being RoHS compliant. This is due to a few of the components being used are not offered as RoHS compliant and also for what the EPCSYSTM and EPCSYS-HPTM electronic solenoids are intended to be used for.
Below is the exact statement from RoHS:
"Equipment that is part of another type of equipment that does not fall within the scope of the RoHS Regulations is itself excluded from the scope of the Regulations.
Equipment specifically designed to be exclusively installed on airplanes, boats, cars and other forms of transport (ie not falling within one of the Categories of EEE) is not considered to be within the scope of the RoHS Regulations."
We are always environmentally conscious and we will continue to use as many RoHS compliant components as possible.
